About the event
Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) training is an evidence-based crisis de-escalation model. CPI is a mandatory training for all Bloom foster parents. CPI training incorporates trauma-informed and person-centered approaches and trains staff to respond to crisis situations with a focus on prevention using verbal de-escalation skills and strategies. We look forward to sharing these helpful skills with our Bloom foster parents!
